Who we are

Refresh is the Church of Weymouth and Portland in Action. 

We are more than an organisation, more than a charity, we are a unity movement.

We have a passion for God to be in Weymouth and Portland and we come united as the church to see God’s glory in our towns.

We work together in social action to try to help those who are caught in the poverty trap; providing baby equipment for young families (Family Matters), debt counselling (CAP), job support, a night shelter during the winter months for rough sleepers and the homeless in partnership with the Lantern, (Safe Sleep) and at the beginning of lockdown 2020 giving support to those who were self-isolating during the covid pandemic, and now provides in-person activities for those wanting to meet with friends. We believe that by being in unity, praying for each other and working alongside each other,

the world will come to know Jesus by our love (John 17)
